(1) 表示倍數的三個句型：
…times as+形容詞原級+as…
This table is three times as big as that one.
這個桌子是那個的三倍大。
…times the +性質名詞+of…
This table is three times the size of that one.
…times +形容詞比較級+than…
This table is twice bigger than that one.
(2) 同程度的比較，用as…as, the same as, such…as引導
Henry is a worker as good as peter.
He is as good a worker as peter.
He is such a good worker as peter.
亨利和皮特是一樣好的工人。
Henry does not have so/as many books as I have.
亨利沒有我那么多書。
(3) the+比較級…, the+比較級…,表示越…越…
The more tickets you sell, the more money you will get.
你賣的票越多，你得到的錢越多。
(4) 比較級+and+比較級，表示越來越…
The new city is becoming more and more beautiful.
這個新城市變得越來越美麗。
(5) the+比較級+of the two+名詞
The taller of the two boys is my brother.
這兩個男孩當中較高的那個是我的哥哥。
(6) 一個人的兩種性質的比較，用more…than…結構
Ann acts quite unfriendly.
I think she’s more shy than unfriendly.
安表現的很不友好，我認為相對于不友好來說她更害羞。
(7) 否定詞+比較=最高級
There is no greater love than that of a man who lays down his life for his friends.
沒有什么比為自己犧牲生命更偉大的愛了。
He has never spent a more worrying day.
他從來沒有過過這么令人擔憂的日子。
(8) 比較的對象不能互相包容
比較級+than+any other+單數名詞
比較級+than+all (the) other+復數名詞
比較級+than+anyone else
試比較：China is larger than any other country in Asia.
中國比亞洲其他國家要大。
China is larger than any country in Africa.
中國比非洲其他國家都大。
(9) 修飾比較級常見的有：
rather, much, many, still, even, far, any, a lot, a little, a great deal, by far, a bit.
The students study even harder thanbefore.
學生們比以前學習更努力。
修飾最高級常見的有：
by far, nearly, almost, by no means, not really, not quite,nothing like
The bridge being built now is by far the longest across the Yellow River.
目前正在修建的這座橋是黃河最長的橋。
(10) no+比較級+than的特殊含義及一些特殊結構
A is no more careful than B.
A和B兩個人都不仔細。
A is no less careful than B.
A和B兩個人都很仔細。
A is not more careful than B.
A不如B仔細。
A is not less careful than B.
A的仔細程度并不差于B.
