由time構(gòu)成的名稱性詞組作連詞
英語中的復合句通常是用從屬連詞把主句和從句連接起來。但有時，某些名詞性詞組也可充當連詞引導從句（這里主要指時間狀語從句）。本文就對這一語法做一歸納，供同行教學時參考。
1、every time 每次/每回……eg:
1)Every time he vizited his old friend,he would buy her some presents.
每次他去拜訪老朋友時，總要給她買些禮物。
2）Do not give it up every time you met the difficulty.
不要每次碰到困難就放棄。
2、each time 每當……時 eg:
1)Joghson can’t wait to ask some questions each time (that) he happens to see VIPS
每當強生碰巧見到名人時，他就會迫不及待地問些問題。
2）The little boy shows me a smile each time he meets me.
那男孩每次遇見我時都會露出微笑。
3、The first time 第一次……時eg:
1）I felt very excited the first time I flew to Beijing.
第一次乘飛機去北京，我感到非常興奮。
2）The first time I saw you, you were only a kid.
我第一次見到你時，你只不過是個孩子。
4、next time (當)下次……時 eg:
1)You should come over to Grace next time you get there.
下次你到那里時，你應該去拜訪一下格蕾絲。
2）Next time you play soccer with your friens, please put on your own sports shoes.
下次你和朋友去踢球時，請穿上你自己的球鞋。
5、last time (在)上次……時 eg:
1）You should have seen me last time you passed this city.
上次你路過這座城市時，本應該要看看我的。
2）My family weretalking about my future last time I got home.
上次我到家時，我的家人正在談論我的未來。
6、any time (在）任何時候…… eg：
1）He’ll give you a hand any time (that) you need.
任何時候你需要，他都會幫助你。
2)I’ll lend you the magazine any time (that) you like.
任何時候你喜歡這本雜志我都會借給你。
