中考英語知識點：重要句型(2)

　　10.  Hobo is walking round the table.   霍波正在繞著桌子走。

　　round在這里表示”圍繞，環(huán)繞’的意思。如：

　　Simon is walking round the playground.   西蒙正繞著操場走。

　　11.  Amy is walking from the sofa to the window.   埃米正在從沙發(fā)走向窗子。

　　from the sofa to the window是“從沙發(fā)到窗子”的意思，from  to  表示“從……到……；如：

　　We have lessons from Monday to Friday.    我們周一到周五上課。

　　12.  Can you tell me the wav to Sunshine Town Railway Station from Sunnyside Shopping Mall    你能告訴礁從陽光地帶購物中心到陽光城火車站怎么走嗎

　　the way to表示“去……的路”。  問路還常用以下句型：

　　Do you know which is the way to the post office    知道去郵局怎么走嗎

　　13.Then walk across Sunshine Park and up the steps at the other side of the park.

　　穿過陽光公園，沿著臺階向上到公園的另一邊。

　　the other side of表示“在……的另一邊”。如：

　　Mr. Green is waiting for a bus at the other side of the street.

　　格林先生在大街對面等車。

　　14.  Walk over the bridge to South Road and then turn left. 走過橋到南方路，然后左轉(zhuǎn)。

　　walk over在這里是“過”的意思，相當(dāng)于walk across 或go across, walk over更強調(diào)空間感。如：

　　Don't walk across the road when the traffic light is on.   紅燈亮的時候不要橫穿馬路。

　　15.  We shall take the bus to the Summer Palace.   我們將乘公交車去頤和園。

　　take在這里是“搭乘（車、船等）”的意思，相當(dāng)于go by bus or plane。如:

　　They took a ship to Qingdao (=They went to Qingdao by ship.)

　　他們乘船去了青島。

　　16．I don’l think it will.    我認(rèn)為不會（下雨）。

　　含有think引導(dǎo)的否定從句，一般把否定前移，放在think的前面。如：

　　The girl doesn't think her mother, will be back soon.

　　那個女孩認(rèn)為她媽媽不會很快回來。

　　17.  Walk past the wooden house, turn left and walk along a small path next to the river.   走過術(shù)屋，向左轉(zhuǎn)，沿著一條靠近河邊的小路走。

　　next to在這里是“靠近，貼近”的意思。如：

　　Linda lives next to us.   琳達(dá)住在我們隔壁。

　　18．We look forward to seeing you at our party.   我們期望在晚會上見到你們。

　　look forward to doing sth的意思是”期望做某事”，表示說話者十分希望實現(xiàn)某種愿望、目的。如：

　　We look forward to having a picnic this autumn.

　　我們期望今年秋天野炊。
