Play the song the first time. Students just listen and follow the lyrics in their books.
Play the instrumental version of the song. This time, students sing along with the tune.
Play the instrumental version of the song again.
Draw students' attention to the instruction and the diary page. Explain that they need to fill in the diary with activities-but they should leave at least two or three days free (or have activities that are in the morning or afternoon, rather than in the evening).
Ask students to fill in the diary page individually.
Help students to form pairs. Draw students' attention to the sample conversation. Explain that they have to find a time next week when they can both go and see a movie.
